About Me

I’m Sarah, and welcome to my blog! 

As a vegetarian since 1999 and vegan since 2019, I’ve experienced delicious plant-based food in a variety of destinations, from a quaint village in the French Alps to a vibrant city in mountains of Thailand.

But my heart lies closer to home, in the beautiful red-rock landscapes of Sedona, gorgeous redwoods of California, and quirky little towns scattered about the U.S.

I currently live with my husband and fur-baby in the Sonoran desert of Arizona, though we love to escape to the forests and mountains whenever we can. (Eccentric mountain towns surrounded by nature are what most inspire and bring out the wanderlust in me.)

My hope is to share some of our travel adventures, as well as provide resources for vegan-friendly destinations, restaurants, and animal sanctuaries—especially in off-the-beaten-path places! (See the FAQ page for more info.)
